Your sparkling eyes held me captive, I couldn’t look away, not even a trace.

My heart ached for a chance, just one, to speak to you,

But fear of rejection froze me in place, unsure of what to do.

You were the bliss, a gift divine, and I liked you so,

Yet the weight of my emotions made it hard to let you know.
